Give Thanks:
In May, we saw the first of our young people graduate from College. Felicia has been part of things for a really long time, and came to Bible Study back when it was at the Longhouse. She graduated from Indian Bible College in Flagstaff, AZ, and it was moving to see her graduate. She is doing a summer internship with a ministry in New Mexico and is planning on coming back here to take over youth ministry. We are proud of her for finishing school, blazing a trail, and for all the amazing things God has done and is doing in her life.
Trusting God:
Summer is here and we are swamped. This is the first year we’ve not had interns helping us host teams so we are slammed. Our staff is larger than in the past, and we have 6 young people from the Reservation working with us (3 full time, 3 part time) so in a way, we’re ok, but not entirely. It’s great to have all 6 working with us full time over the summer, but we’re still feeling a bit shorthanded.
Prayer Request:
Please pray for us as we host summer teams and share the Gospel. We are a bit shorthanded this summer, but also excited about new opportunities to empower our local leadership. We have 6 young people from White Swan that are working with Sacred Road – pray for their energy, stamina, and their faith (several are very young Christians).
