Give Thanks:
In February, numbers returned to normal for Sunday and are inching back to normal for youth group. We restarted Young Life and regularly going to lunch at the High School and Middle School which has helped us reach more teenagers – connecting with new ones and “old ones.”
Trusting God:
After the baptisms at the beginning of the month, two of our new believers faced some difficulty. One, a 14-year-old leader was evicted with his family. Thankfully they were able to stay in White Swan and we still see them. An 11 year old girl who was baptized and her older sister (baptized last year) both were kicked out of their home after a domestic dispute when a gun was fired. CPS sent both back to the house, but the older refused and is now living with the Granberries.
Prayer Request:
Please pray for Alice and Olivia (Aliases). Olivia was baptized last year and Alice at the beginning of February. Both are showing growth and faith, but their home is a mess. Four days after Alice was baptized, a gun was fired by an adult in the home in a domestic dispute, while 4 minors were in the house. Olivia moved out but Alice was returned to home by CPS. Praise God that Alice and her two little brothers (also baptized last year) can still come to Church – we were convinced the family would never let us see them again because Sacred Road was involved in the CPS Case. Pray for their safety, growing faith, and their family.
